About: I'm Director of Community Management for education.com - a site devoted to helping parents get the information they need about education and parenting. Right now we do an amazing job of giving them access to reference and editoral articles but it's my job to figure out what tools we need to provide to help parents communicate with and support each other. Parents are a unique demographic in terms of their web behavior. Our community products have to be easy and provide immediate value. These are not people who want to come "hang out" or make friends on the web (they spend an average of 14 minutes a day online!). I'd like to connect with people who are successfully serving this population.
